Your role The successful candidate will join the Security, Reasoning and Validation (SERVAL) research group and work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maxime Cordy to transform cutting-edge research into usable, high-impact software tools. The role is part of a broader initiative to support the deployment of trustworthy AI systems by building open-source projects, demonstrators, and prototypes that reflect the group's academic and industrial research contributions. The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks: Act as the main contributor to an open-source project related to AI system evaluation, with the aim to develop it into a real product and foster a user and contributor community Design and build demonstrators to showcase academic and industrial research outcomes Prototype with emerging technologies, frameworks, and methods related to AI and software engineering Contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts and promote best practices in software development For further information, please contact Dr. Maxime Cordy: maxime.cordy@uni.lu Your profile Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor's degree can be considered if the candidate has extensive experience and/or outstanding skills Proven experience as a full-stack developer (frontend, backend, deployment) Strong knowledge of Python development practices and tools/frameworks; other programming languages are an asset Ability to lead and take ownership of software development projects Ideally, experience contributing to or managing open-source software projects Strong communication skills and an appetite for engaging with stakeholders and building community around developed tools Language Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Your role

Your profile
