Research Associate / PhD Student (m/f/d) in Information Theory of Sensing and Coordination17.05.2026, Wissenschaftliches Personal By communicating, the devices need to generate a common approximation of this source within a defined quality level. Only if this is done can the behavior of the devices be explained and predicted in a deterministic manner. In this PhD position, you will analyze the above task on an information-theoretic basis with the ultimate goal of implementing a resilient coordination protocol in the ACES Lab provided by the Institute of Theoretical Information Technology. The position is part of a larger project shared with TU Dresden which aims at designing, analyzing and implementing resilient communication systems. Your responsibilities
