The Bioeconomy Department (Prof. Dr. Franziska Schünemann) is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow (m/f/d). The position is classified at TV-L 13 (100%, 39.5 hours per week) and is initially limited to 3 years

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES The position includes the preparation and delivery of teaching activities amounting to 4 semester hours per week (SWS), the academic supervision of students and doctoral candidates, and participation in administrative tasks of the chair. A central component of the role is the involvement in ongoing research projects within the department. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the acquisition of third-party funding and the development of new research projects, as well as to actively publish in international peer-reviewed journals. In consultation with the head of the department, the ideal candidate can develop their research agenda independently and should focus on the potential of bio-based resources for the transition toward sustainable economies. In particular, the candidate is expected to contribute significantly to the development of innovative and interdisciplinary simulation model ex ante to assess the economic, societal, and environmental impacts of the bioeconomy. This includes identifying potential trade-offs and synergies between these dimensions.
