We aim to understand the effects of psychedelics on neuronal circuits and synapses, and link to behavior and disease models. The successful candidate will investigate synaptic plasticity induced by psilocybin in mice, applying whole-cell patch-clamp electrophysiology combined with optogenetics, immunofluorescence and behavioral testing.

  • Solid practical experience with whole-cell patch-clamp electrophysiology
  • Experienced working with rodents
  • Experienced in rodent behavioral testing, in vivo optogenetics/Calcium-imaging and/or MATLAB is a plus
